Pet Pantry Warehouse
According to Fairfield County Weekly, “What sets them apart from fellow pet stores in the area is their superior customer service and unique and high-end product supply. Focusing on holistic, organic and natural products, Pet Pantry is “the Whole Foods for the pet set.” A woof of approval! The company’s owners have an innate passion for animals, focusing their attention on the health and well-being of their customers’ pets, and taking the time to answer any and all nutritional and training questions. Their altruistic nature also lends itself to the community, as Pet Pantry helped 50 displaced Hurricane Katrina dogs find new homes, as well as over 300 cats for Cat Assistance. They’ve also work closely with Animal Control to help raise funds and build a new facility. If you want a truly knowledgeable staff and “white glove service,” Pet Pantry is the pet store for you.”

Estate Treasures
According to Fairfield County Weekly, “Their name says it all: treasures of all types rescued from area estates, plus imported antiques and antique reproductions from England, Holland and Italy, and custom-made furniture fashioned from authentic woods like English yewood and mahogany, or Italian walnut and chestnut. You name it, they’ve got it: vintage clothing, home furnishings (dressing tables, credenzas, armoires, hutches, etc.), office furniture and much, much more. And if they don’t have it, there’s a good chance they can track it down for you. Harriet Roughan’s shop has been around for a quarter of a century, so she knows where to find the best stuff!”

Wish List
According to Fairfield County Weekly, “If Lindsay Lohan or Jessica Simpson is wearing it, you’re likely to find it Wish List. The clothes that the upscale boutique sells certainly aren’t cheap, but they always reflect the latest trends of the teen and young woman set. A lot of what they sell are pricey designer label jeans like True Religion, Sass & Bide, 7 For All Mankind, Rich & Skinny, Big Stars, each bearing a price tag of $100 or more. But, apparently to the Fairfield County club-hopping crowd, price is no object when it comes to looking good.”
Winner of “Best Women’s Fashion†according to the 2007 Fairfield County Weekly Best of Reader’s Poll.
Winner of “Best Place to Buy Hip Clothing†according to the 2007 Fairfield County Weekly Best of Reader’s Poll.
